Britney Spearsin "Piece of Me" on valittu ehdokkaaksi "Video of the Year" kategoriassa. Britney kisailee VMA:ssa myös Female Video & Pop Video sarjoissa. Britneyllä ei ole vielä yhtäkään "kuumiestä", joten toivotaan, että tänä vuonna onnistaa!Video of the Year -pystistä kisaavat myös The Jonas Brothers, Chris Brown, Pussycat Dolls ja The Ting Tings omilla videoillaan.
