Britney vieraili eilen oikeustalolla palaverissa. Ilmeisesti hän haki itselleen lisää "vapauksia".

Useat lähteet väittävät, että Britney lähtee USA:sta maanantaina kohti Saksaa markkinoimaan uutta levyään.

Britneyn on vahvistettu esiintyvän myös The X Factor -sarjassa Britanniassa ja Star Academyssa Ranskassa. Luvassa on myös radiohaastatteluja ja muuta mukavaa.

Lisäksi Britney juhlii syntymäpäiväänsä Good Morning America-showssa sekä on ilmeisesti lupautunut avaamaan joulun Rockefeller Centerissä.

Whose idea was it to do a documentary?

It evolved out of a conversation that Britney and I had five or six months ago where the big question was what she was going to do in terms of talking to the public, presenting herself to the public. She really wanted to be able to tell her story, talk about where she’s been, where she is today and where she is going. She wanted to do it very honestly, but on her own terms. I think there is a part of her that is tired of allowing the media to guide her image and her story. She wanted to tell that story herself.

What was the turning point for her? When did she decided she was ready to try again?

There just came a moment where she decided to get up, brush herself off and move forward. She had hit a low point in her life. She realized that and everybody else realized that. She wanted to get to a better place.

One thing that struck me in the footage shown was that she didn’t always seem very happy. She looked sullen during quite a bit of it. Why do you think she keeps going? She’s putting out another album, going on tour…
I think she keeps going because she knows there’s a beginning, middle and end to this. She realizes that there are better times ahead. She’s already in a much better place than she was not that long ago and she knows that she’s going to be in a better place a month from now, six months from now, a year from now, etc. That’s what keeps her going. She’s doing what she loves right now. Every day she’s found more happiness in her life.

In the documentary, she talked about how scheduled and structured her life has been. She still seems pretty busy now. How have things really changed for her?

There was a stretch where she became very unbusy in terms of her career. I think she got into some trouble because maybe she had too much free time on her hands. She likes to work. In many ways, she’s defined by her career. Getting her career where she wants it to be now is a big part of who she is.

You’ve known her since she was a child, but at one point, Britney let you go. Now you’re back working with her again. Why have you stuck by her throughout everything?

It hasn’t really been a rocky relationship. The reality is we stopped working together right around when she got married to Kevin because she wanted that. She didn’t want a career at that point. She wanted to have kids and take on a new phase of her life and she did. Then we got back together for a short period of time last year, which was a very difficult time for her. And really she was not in a position at that point to do what she’s doing now. Then she decided it was time to pick herself up and move forward and I came back.

Was there any hesitation to continue working with her after the ups and downs?

I’ve known this girl for over half her life, since she was 13. We have a very close friendship, but it’s sort of hard for me to explain my relationship with her. It’s a friendship, it’s a business relationship, there are some paternal aspects to it. We get along very well. I understand her better than everyone other than her immediate family. There’s a shorthand we use in terms of dealing with each other that just works. The bottom line is I think she’s amazing. I love her. She’s been a big part of my life, and I’ve been a big part of her life. Being a part of this new phase in her career is something I was very open to.

On fame:
"At first, it's amazing, the first year or two, because it's like, I'm a celebrity!....It didn't really touch me until I had been working for six years....I wanted to just stop. I wanted to create a new life."

On the current state of her life:
"Do I know my life is weird? It's all I've ever known. I don't see it as being weird....I'm kind of stuck in this place and I'm like, How do you deal? I just cope with it every day....It's better not to feel anything at all and have hope than to feel the other way....It's bad. I'm sad." She breaks down into tears. Later, she complains that her life is too in control these days: "It's like Groundhog Day every day. It's really boring....Normal is really different for everybody....In my situation, I try to make it as normal as possible for me....It could be a lot worse. There are people out there who have it a lot worse than I do....I used to be a cool chick but I feel like the paparazzi has taken that away from me, like, the way I used to live my life. I used to be a cool chick but I'm not anymore."

“I never said that to the US Weekly! The song is definitely not about Adnan and in the whole time I worked with her last spring and summer I never once saw that guy. We strictly wrote the song for fun. the Mmm Papi part came out of Mmm Papa Luv U and I came up with it because the track was a fun up beat track and we wanted to do something crazy like mmmpapamowow.

The mmm papi part came later as rhythmic idea and it was also more inspired by Hey Mami from the group Fannypack and is our ode to all the Latino hotties in the world such as yourself! Please be kind to Britney and I and post this correction. She was oh so sweet and professional to work with, and I believe she’s really gotten her life together.”

You landed your big break on The Mickey Mouse Club aged 11. Have you ever felt that you lost your childhood?

I only did the show for two years, and for six months out of each year I was at home all the time. I had a wonderful childhood I was probably in my tenth year of school when I left to record my album - so I did the whole prom thing and played on the basketball team. There are some kids in show business who are always in New York and constantly going to audition, but I was fortunate it wasn’t like that for me.

When did you decide that you wanted to be a performer?

It was when I was on the Mickey Mouse Club that I realized I had a major love of music. We were involved in concerts and were in the recording studio, and I was like: “I want to go for this!” When the show was canceled, it was sad, I just wanted to get back out there again. That’s when I went to Jive records
and they signed me.

You once said it’s scary to be a old model. Why is that?
Because I make mistakes. If I do something wrong, I don’t want teenagers to feel like they should go out and do that as well. If you’re a role model, that’s what happens.

You mean it’s a lot of responsibility?
Yes, I don’t like that. I’m just Human.

But you have inspired a lot of kids…
I hope so I think that if they have some talent, whether it be singing, dancing, acting or whatever, and God has given them that gift then they should go for it and let the world see it.

Have you become a woman now?
Well, that’s someone who is comfortable with herself and has lived her life to the fullest. She has all the wisdom she needs to get through.

It’s great to see you back to your gorgeous best. How does it feel to be a sex symbol?
Ha Ha! It’s very flattering, I think you’re sexier when you don’t try and you’re just yourself. It’s kind of weird, though, that people say that sometimes. I mean, a girl is lying if she says she doesn’t like to feel sexy. We all like to feel sexy!

Do you feel as though the public doesn’t get to see the real Britney?
Everyone reckons I’m native. When I’m on stage, they definitely see the real me. When I’m not performing, they just have me down as some girl with blonde hair.

Someone once asked me, “Do you think that because you’re blonde, you have more fun?” I was like “No, not at all!” Its just this is how I look and what works on top of what I do’ You should be happy for a person, not just assume they are a certain way.

I’m trying to be successful, can you be over-ambitious?
Yes. I think I have that problem. I honestly do. I’m such a perfectionist sometimes. It has its good points, but then it has its bad points because you’re never satisfied.
I don’t think you should ever be completely satisfied as then you’re putting a limit on yourself. You should be happy with the person you are on the inside, but on the outside you should always be trying to strive for more.

And does that make you happy?
You end up driving yourself crazy because you’re never pleased with the finished project. You’re always like ‘ Well if I’d done it like this, then it probably would’ve been a lot better.

If you have to choose between career or family, what would come first?
I would choose both. Why not? But, of course, If it really came down to it, Family!.

What about getting older? Is it possible to age within pop business?
Yes, definitely. Madonna is proof of that.

When you and Justin Timberlake were an item, what was the most memorable gift he gave you?
For my birthday, he gave me a diamond music box that I wore around my neck. When you open it, there’s a diamond pink bee. It’s very pretty.

You once said: ‘Sex is better than chocolate.’ What exactly were you referring to?
[Laughs] That was blown way out of proportion I was eating chocolate at this chocolate factory and I was asked.

Is chocolate an orgasmic-feeling for you?
I said ‘ Sneezing is,’ That’s all it was. I guess chocolate can be, though!

Soccer is getting bigger and bigger in America. Who is your favorite player, and are you any good at the sport?
David Beckham - he’s a cutie. I am not a very good soccor player, so I have to get someone to help me. Maybe he can…

When it comes to making music videos, which ones do you prefer - those that are sad or those that are fun?
The fun ones because the hours you spend shooting a video are really long. It’s nice to be doing something fun, especially when you have dancers around - they’re crazy

Do you like being challenged and trying new things?
Oh Definitely!! That’s why every award show I attend, I do a different performance. I always change it up a lot, and it’s good for the fans too as they got to see me more.
Im always trying to set myself new goals. You have to do that to be on top.

How do you hope to be remembered?
That I was just able to put a smile on people’s faces. That saw me in a movie and they left the movie theater feeling good, or they saw me dancing and it inspired them.
